Parent/child music classes
Judy Fricke has been an Early Childhood Music Educator using Dr. Feierabend’s methods for the past fifteen years in western Tennessee. She is thrilled to be “coming home” to Maine to continue to share her love for music and children at Main Street Music Studios.
“Although the First Steps in Music cirriculum contains numerous pre-literacy and pre-music skills, the focus of this program is the relationship between the child and the caregiver. The importance of reading to a child and exposing them to music at a young age cannot be overemphasized. But it is the act of holding that child while reading to them and rocking that child while singing them to sleep that establishes the incredible bond which creates security and confidence as the child grows older.”
